@informapirata @privacypride noi lo sappiamo chi produce, chi installa e chi ha accesso alle telecamere che sono presenti nei nostri comuni? Non è una domanda retorica, chiedo onestamente perché io ho fatto una ricerca e, a parte roba spannometrica (es: x% sono cinesi, y% americane) e con poche fonti, non ho trovato nulla.

Watching this Apple event tout how iPhones will soon be able to record ambient audio/conversations and transcribe "high level notes" for you. It's billed as private and end-to-end encrypted, but I think the bigger harm is the normalization of always-listening devices. It's creepy and not normal.

@nileane We moved places in March and still don’t have landline or fiber, so we’re surfing via 5G. Three-person household, two home offices, 150 GB of traffic per day, absolutely no problem. Still feels like we’re defying physics. Wireless data transfer has come a long way!
@joshua Oh yeah definitely. For some reason I take 5G more for granted than Wifi, but it's probably because I've been stuck on Wifi 5 for so long and never got to feel what 6 and 6E feel like

@nileane It’s wild, I got a Wi-Fi 7/6GHz AP for my office area a while ago, and it was the first time I ever got the full speeds I pay for at the desk where I actually work.
