Has any tried or have opinions about the Easy Interval Method?
@frescosecco and I had a chat yesterday about his experience with #EIM. He's new to it but likes it.
I'm interested as a way to train for half marathons. The attraction is the author's claim that lower mileage but more sub-threshold intervals reduces injuries.

There's a negative review here, followed by a great deal of pushback:
@MarvinFreeman I'm a new runner (about 6 months in), and I have done #EIM from the beginning. I still often do smaller sessions, not the full standard sessions, or I mix things up a bit. (like 3x1km + 5x200m). The method is actually quite flexible and adapts to the number of days per week you want to run. The book has example training plans from 800m to a marathon. It has a 13-week half-marathon training plan in variants from 3 to 8 training sessions per week.
@MarvinFreeman I use a basic 10k plan, but without the races or hard sessions on the weekend for now. I enjoy it tremendously, developing fitness and incremental speed simultaneously. #EIM
@frescosecco Have you been doing #EIM for long? I'm very interested in giving it a try for a half marathon, but the focus seems to be on shorter distances.
If you have time, I'd be interested in hearing about your experience with it.

Jogged to the park, did 10x200m intervals (#EIM). And today felt so easy, with a much lower heart rate than usual.
There are days like that. #running.

10x200m on a frozen Finnish track in Xero shoes. The standard #EIM session is 15x, but apparently I have knees.
