Yay, my least favourite thing in the Mastodon UI has somehow got worse!
When I scroll away from a video, rather than stopping playing (as it should) it pops out as a separate little floating thing. Which is a nice thing to have as a button, but I scrolled away from the video because I was done watching it, so stop that.
Only now the pop up managed to appear under the UI elements on the right. So clicking on the close button took me to ‘followed hashtags’ and there was no way to make the floating window go away.

Managed to track down a copy of first person disk-smuggling motorbike simulator for #MSDOS gamejam entry I did in 2019, thinking it long lost, and recorded a little playthrough. Gloriously ugly raycaster hard at work, I think the performance was extra bad on real hardware because I took a jam shortcut and rotated the world-view in software instead of skewing the raycast properly.

- mastodon: tooter no m'ha convençut per usabilitat, provant tuts i de moment content! (app android)
