Brass cast little sculpture of a wood cube showing tunnels carved by a woodworm. Of course the tree was already firewood when I found it, I only cut it into a rough cube. And the woodworm was long gone: Wherever you are, I hope you're OK, it was nice making this collab with you.

Frontal view of the brass cube, showing what I consider the frontal and upper side, it's bright yellow and recently polished, no patina has formed. You can see through the piece because the tunnels cut holes connecting the faces of the cube.

Another view revealing the face of the cube where I preserved the tree's bark. It has a few entrances to the tunnels.

Back view where the see-through holes are more apparent.

With the bark to the right, the lighting makes the left face show its reflectiveness. There are some white specks on the brass, that's ceramic residue from the mold I haven't carved out yet.
