🏥The Red Cross Hospital, an abandoned sanatorium in Italy. Located atop a remote hill over 1,000 metres above sea level. In the years before antibiotics, facilities like this were the only treatment for many respiratory diseases.

The site closed in the 1980s. Today, metal beds stand in silent dormitories, and trees grow inside the bathrooms.
