Slowly weaning myself off of #Fedora - starting with pruning the packages I maintain.
It's been a good run but I want more time to contribute to non-corporate #Linux distributions / #Unix OSes, especially those with #NoAI policies or where there is space for bottom-up changes.
I will likely still be around for at least a year - I still have a long standing pet project I might now have time to push, and existing committee and work related commitments - but I am starting to get used to not thinking of myself (mainly) as a Fedorian...
Made good friends along the way, almost no regrets... but when your #DayJob hat and your community hat feels increasingly indistinguishable, it... eventually grates. And the difference in ethical and philosophical outlooks harder to ignore...
