Happened across this thread. Noticed one person trying to kick out the only civic duty we have, voting, while another person is saying basically not to bother.
I totally see that Americans get what they deserve.
This thread clearly shows it.
The correct path for every citizen of the USA is to go through the trouble of making sure they are registered to vote and then voting this November.
Be an active citizen with this one small thing.

If there is anyone out there who doesn't think voting matters, just look at what we have for a Resident and Cabinet on this day. Rights going gone Right and Left.

I have a hard time wrapping my head around this situation. Looking at books on political sociology but this does not fully explain how the guy got elected.
I don't think the majority thought he would take us to fascism or try to replace democracy w/ authoritarianism. Many still don't see this. They need to. Civil rights, our Bill of Rights, the amendments, are at stake.
Need to vote those folks out of power. Rebuild from there.

They couldn't think of a way to stop such a person so the told congress to look, pay attention for just what we have. And just like Religion he want to be god. The con-man, simple as that. Don't look through the books to find an answers, it's just the way we are.
