Bladed

An October morning of hazy sunshine and showers. On the east coast of Iceland, making our way south, we stopped at Flögufoss waterfall.

Looking across the valley floor, I noticed that the light was perfect across the sharp rocky spines. Even the waterfall between the ridges was clear to see.

The foothills of Tó (1069 metres, 3507 feet) between Breiðdalsvík and Berufjörður in Fjarðabyggð, eastern #Iceland.

A colour photo of a mountainous landscape. The sunlight is from the right and is highlighting layered rock at the base of an unseen mountain. Lower down the slopes, the hills soften and are covered in yellow-green vegetation. A waterfall is dropping between two sharp rock ridges, which resemble backbones.
