#help #mastodon #admin Hi, I recently have a strange problem with masto. I normally use it via web browser ( deck ) using Firefox with NoScript and uBlock extensions but configured to let masto pass. It never gave me any problem until a few days ago 'something changed'. If I close the masto tab and I open a new one and paste the link, it displays OK but at ANY refresh then I try for the page it says "Java is required" i.e blocked by the extension and even if try to UNBLOCK it again nothing works

@gilesgoat 'java' or 'javascript'? 
because if it's 'java' then waw! it's been forever seen I've really seen (or at least noticed) something using java in the browser.
@loganer You are right is JavaScript, that is the message :
"To use the Mastodon web application, please enable JavaScript. Alternatively, try one of the native apps for Mastodon for your platform. "

@gilesgoat @loganer nothing changed on our end to cause this as best we can tell, but will keep an ear out for anyone else having a similar issue in case there's something deeper to dig out and deal with
