The new #LibreOffice version looks interesting (curious to try out the #Markdown implementation). But oh my, I feel like release notes writing is a very mixed bag in Open Source projects.

@felwert The Release Notes are a wiki page, maintained by the community, and we have limited resources – so if you can help to improve them in any way, we would be very grateful 😊

@libreoffice It’s an open source project, so “instead of complaining, pitch in” is a fair response. 😉 However, I’m not involved in the release or testing, so I don’t feel I’m in a position to pitch the new features. I’m not referring so much to the Wiki release notes – they are fairly technical, changelog style, and I don’t think many non-technical users are really interested in them. I rather think the blog post is a little too brief, so regular users don’t learn a lot about the new features.

@felwert Yes, fair point – we're also working on a video to summarise the end-user-facing features, so that should help!
