I'm cheating today by posting a copy of a print by a much better photographer than me. Last week, I went to see an exhibition of Lee Miller's work, in London. This shot is called 'The Eyes of Sibiu', and was taken in Romania in 1946. Miller saw it as a commentary on the surveillance state, and it seems to have some contemporary relevance...
