Making fridge rescue #soup
That is everything that looked like it would end up in the food bin if I didn't soupify it
Turns out the bags of root veg cubes wife got for burns night (that we didn't use, because the ready mashed in microwave option was faster) is actually broth mix, with packets of barley
Bonus, broth now with extra celery and carrot
"Chuckie in" soup was what it was called where I grew up
Cheap lunch for rest of the week in flask with me. Yaaaasss
