I guess Goggle must be waging war on Free Code front-ends again. Both NewPipe and PipePipe have stopped being able to play YouTub videos on my Android, sometime in the last 24 hours. At least Invidio.us was still working on my laptop last night, and is working in my mobile browser for now.

Probably the same reasons. All the NewPipe forks will depend on the same mechanisms to access the GoggleVideo backend that hosts video for YouTub, and most likely Seal does too.

But I really wish someone would create a web video equivalent of unstream.stream, where I could keyword search videos across YouTub, PeerTube (via SepiaSearch), and other video hosting services. It wouldn't necessarily need to play the videos in its own interface, just putting web video from a range of hosts in one search space would be a big step forward.
