On Android or desktop? On Android change to #Tubular or #Newpipe instead maybe?

Just tapped on a BandCamp link in a text message (1), and a popup offered to open it in PipePipe, either in the main app or a background player. I chose background player and it's working fine. This is awesome.

In theory this capability has been available for a while in @newpipe (of which PP is a fork), but I don't remember ever getting it to work.

I don't remember installing a new version of NewPipe recently. But I guess I did (maybe late last night in a daze?), because today I've noticed a distinct UX improvement.

To get the URL for a video, I used to have to start a video, wait for it to load, tap on it to bring up a hidden set of tiny controls, and tap a share button. Not there's a big, easily identifiable 'Share' button (and an 'Open in browser' button), under the line of buttons that were already there under the video.

@fdroidorg Good work for team android... #newpipe needs to redesign UI also f-droid devs needs to build some good alternatives of Google apps or other closed apps (swift keyboard, musicolet, Bitdefender./malwarebites anti-virus,and some others)

The #NewPipe team have just pushed another release 0.27.7 that fixes the 360p video issue. I've tested and it works a treat.
