BandCamp not working in NewPipe/ PipePipe
New versions of NewPipe and PipePipe deployed by @fdroid over the last couple of days have restored their ability to play YouTub videos, which is great. But they no longer seem to be able to play music from BandCamp, at least in the background player. Is this is known bug (or user error), or is it worth contacting them to report it?
I guess Goggle must be waging war on Free Code front-ends again. Both NewPipe and PipePipe have stopped being able to play YouTub videos on my Android, sometime in the last 24 hours. At least Invidio.us was still working on my laptop last night, and is working in my mobile browser for now.

@cryptgoat are you familiar with PipePipe? I think it's a fork or something, someone on here claimed it's better. I have both NewPipe and PipePipe installed and they seem pretty comparable.
@maltimore Yeah, pretty much tried all the #NewPipe forks at some point. #LibreTube is also borked.

The website for #PipePipe still says that it can block paid videos. But that hasn't been true for me for quite some time. It used to block them, but then it just suddenly stopped. And I can't find any setting to turn it on again.
Does it actually block paid videos for anyone else? Am I doing something wrong here?
Just tapped on a BandCamp link in a text message (1), and a popup offered to open it in PipePipe, either in the main app or a background player. I chose background player and it's working fine. This is awesome.
In theory this capability has been available for a while in @newpipe (of which PP is a fork), but I don't remember ever getting it to work.

I get the impression PipePipe started out as a fork of NewPipe, but the two have diverged significantly since the fork. I've used variants of NewPipe to watch YouTub videos for years, with very few hassles. It's been by far the most reliable of the privacy-respecting YouTube front-ends. So I'm curious to check out PipePipe.
