The first spread of pages, still written sloppily and with mistakes. It reads: "I'm trying to combat my own depression by focusing on "life" outside co-counseling sessions instead of ruminating abt. trauma and problems. Problem: I have no life!" This last sentence of page 1 is bigger than the rest. Page 2: "Well. It feels that way. I'm broke and struggling for basic survival and I'm too disabled to move around much. Which really limits what I can do besides stew in misery or kill time (which feels like a waste!). I do [underlined] have lots to do... just 0 spoons!" The word spoons is cramped awkwardly into the corner of the page because it almost didn't fit.
