Linux phones are literally cool. Look at GNOME. It’s really great on phones. I would have full harmony with my Linux desktop and tablet, and the apps are already good enough for daily use.
However, my main problem with Linux phones is NFC support, banking apps, and Google Pay, because these are my daily needs. I want to switch to a Linux phone when these problems are properly solved.

@subhanqedirli My approach, as a daily driver user of PMOS, is to use a burner second hand Android for that stuff, which is typically 5m a day or less

@davidoclubb I need banking apps and Google pay everyday regularly and randomly. And it's not practical and economically viable for everyone. When I buy a phone, I want to do all my basic work with it. I can't buy second phone. I can sacrifice so many things but not banking.
I think only real solution is android compatibility layers(like Waydroid). But they should be easy and really working.

@subhanqedirli My solution is definitely not for everyone! But I have lived with increased friction since May last year and am happy with the trade off with privacy and the joy of participating in a global open source experiment
