I’ve been in dark places recently. I didn’t know if I was gonna make it through the holidays. Lots of depression, anxiety, and drinking.
Man, did I need a lift. And I got it.
My lovely friend @resl visited us in Portland. We met for vegan food and uplifting conversation. She also brought her rad friend @darius who I met for the first time at lunch. We have tons in common and I’m grateful she introduced us.
What a gift. This was a good day. ❤️

@markwyner @resl @darius glad you’re feeling better. I had a depression blip last week that I haven’t felt in 20 years (when I was diagnosed depressed). Took two days off work thinking I was getting sick and then it hit me. It’s weird that I only really feel low when my body physically reacts, doesn’t make it easy to detect until it hits.
Onwards and upwards, though. 🫂
