At the moment there are monthly workshops everywhere in Germany, to tell people to switch from BigTech to ethical ones.
I will also do a workshop for the praising the Fediverse in February.
Even I'm a #pixelfedadmin, I have to tell the people to chose #Mastodon over #Pixelfed, as Pixelfed is so buggy, that I don't want to frustrate them.
The https://di.day movement at the moment would be a good chance for Pixelfed - but not as it is now, with no updates since September.

@dansup I pay in the year for server hosting and domain some amount of money, but have to tell others: don't use it. it's super buggy.
@joergi it's not super buggy, it just requires proper configuration, which we need to simplify. there are a few small federation bugs, but overall, its the 2nd most popular platform for a reason, and will see major updates this year.
No promises needed, just like Loops, I will go beyond expectations and make headlines again.

I have people complaining, they can't upload their heic movies...
and I can't change it as an admin. my hoster looked in the logs, he has not seen any error when saving.
Is there a secret command we have to do?
