@jlou This is why private property of all kinds is theft, renting capital that is the product of your own labour as either an individual or a group replicates exactly the problematic part of capitalism: the assumption of ownership over a porition of someone elses labour because you lay claim to the capital. Have you read any Proudhon? Also money is bad because it makes capital accumulation inevitable, but thats maybe a different topic "The horror is the firm not the fact the firm has a boss"

Renting out capital doesn’t imply taking a portion of someone else’s labor. They are just paying for a segment of the capital services, which are an input to the production process. The input-maker has to get paid. Selling the capital is just selling all future capital services.
There are ways to bake in anti-wealth-concentration measures into a currency like a fee on holding the currency.
Economic planning doesn’t work, and is incompatible with workers’ self-management.

I remain unconvinced (my thoughts mirror what you've put to Ambiyelp) but there are some interesting concepts presented.
