@MastodonEngineering after answering the survey, my two cents on the overall assumption, the idea to intoduce algorithm-based guidance to induce behaviors that can help to populate the home feed of the user. I think that such suggestion may take away from the user the "explore, search and evaluate" experience that makes the fedivers so rich and so precious. So please give to #mastoadmin the option to opt-out at instance level.

@MastodonEngineering OK, it could be worse, but why not using an open source / free software solution for this? We have Cryptpad (https://cryptpad.fr) and Liberaforms (https://liberaforms.org/en). Both are excellent.

@MastodonEngineering Yeah, gave up on this. So many options are irrelevant and I don't want ranked since that gives false data. Probably need to restructure this survey.
