@Gargron Now I understand how @pluralistic can write so much---the ideas were pouring out of him almost faster than I could follow. I know he gets a lot of practice, but still, it's amazing to watch.

@Gargron Okay, so I'm on mastodon (duh), but I didn't know some poeple (Doctorow) consider Threads, Bsky, & ... even Trothe Cential [sic] to be Mastodon servers? I guess they do serve the API, just not enough or in a way to satisfy a lot of people?

(But of course in the case of Trothe Cential [sic], statistically no fediverse would ever have it unblocked.)
