I鈥檝e got some distortion and hum to clean up when I build this for real, but my first test circuit of two germanium PNP transistor amplifier works! This is an MP39 into a beefy P214G. I based it on a circuit from MIT but then had to do quite a lot of fiddling because I have MP39s and not the two different ones they used. #Electronics #diy_electronics

BTW, ignore that MD8002A on the right. It鈥檚 just stuck into the board from a previous project.

@relistan they were common transistors used in simple AF circuits. I remember building an amplifier, something similar to this:
