Duke of #Wellington in Glasgow has traffic cone replaced with statue of pigeon reading a newspaper

The famous traffic cone which sits on top of the Duke of #Wellington statue in #Glasgow’s city centre was swapped for small statue of #pigeon reading the paper

In front of Glasgow’s Gallery of Modern Art, it infamously has been adorned with a traffic cone for last 40 years

On Monday, the Duke was sporting a brand new addition

For over 40 years the Duke has sported a traffic cone on his head.  The traffic cone was replaced with a new one, many times of a different design.
