The "community" of #Apple enthusiasts that follow podcasts and news sites about Apple, that have Apple as a sort of tech-hobby might want to reconsider their role in holding up a consumer culture that facilitates interest in a company that is increasingly hostile to its users but one that is embracing a #fascist regime because it prioritizes profit and continued growth.
You got the devices, use them till they break. But reconsider your participation in indirect promotion of their products.
Might as well carry a big sign that says, "Snatch my iPhone please! It's in this bag!".

Discussion of their latest products and OS releases is indirectly promoting the company and normalizing the far more important aspects of what it is doing in 2025: supporting fascism.
The only mentions and discussions of #Apple in 2025 should be about its support of fascism. That goes for any of the #bigtech firms: #Google #Microsoft #Meta #Amazon. Nothing matters beyond their support of #fascism and their embrace of cruelty.
Apple's multi-cultural youth branding is a branding veneer.
As much as I am disgusted by #MAGA folks' obedience to Trump and #fascism, I look at the #Apple community the same way now.
They might see and acknowledge the perversity of Tim Cook's #Fascist boot licking or the removal of the ICE monitoring app, but days later they are back to discussing the colors of the new iPhone and the garishness of the new OS design.
How far into the Fascist rabbit hole do we go, how many Apple displays of obedience before these folks walk away disgusted?
At what point do the Trump/MAGA #fascists bring forth a new Nazi inspired flag that they begin using. Given where we are at, I would expect they would. Maybe not as a replacement for the current flag, but as an addition. Do #Apple, #Google, #Microsoft, etc all fly that flag at their corporate HQ?
Do these Apple enthusiasts continue discussing the company and its products as though the #fascism isn't happening? When is there enough fascism that they begin to withdraw their support?
