One of the reasons I spend more time on my Sharkey account than Mastodon: Emoji choices. Having only a star for a plain old "like" doesn't cut it, Masto.

I've been experimenting a little with #Sharkey but have issues compared to #Mastodon
- I can't follow hashtags "live" e.g. for a #WatchParty like #Monsterdon
- my timeline is dominated by just a few users' posts & boosts
Do you experience that, too?
Do you know of solutions/workarounds?
@klu9 You know, I've not tried following a hashtag live over on Sharkey until you mentioned your issue. Sure enough, there doesn't seem to be an option for following hashtags.
