@thejapantimes Ah right, classical switching causality, people who suffer from depression struggle more to follow a healthy diet --> healthy diet prevents depression.
Also in Japan, people suffering from depression might be because of poor working conditions and very long overtime, so no time to cook properly.
I haven't read the article or the paper so might be wrong but intuitively the same idea has been debunked so many times now in other countries, it's almost guaranteed false
