Congrats to Paris on opening Europe's longest gondola lift today!
It's 4.5 km long (which looks tiny on the map of Paris, but is the same as from the middle of the urban core and mostly to the edge of it here in my capital city of Oslo, Norway) and is a part of the regular transit system. The bus used to take 40 min, now you can soar above the traffic for 18 min instead!
Sounds pretty amazing, if you ask me

I heard about it trough a toot here in the fediverse (not allowed to quote it), and had to find some more info.
Trough my searches I found my new favorite magazine: Daz magazin für urbane seilbahnen, which is a part of Seilbhanen International! A magazine all about not only urban godola trams but also aerial cableways/tramways and funiculars – for transit and for tourism!
