Do Most Americans know where Europe is?
This is a map of Europe although it misses out the names of some small countries like Cyprus, Malta and Gibraltar. It is a cohesive entity which shares borders, trade and thousands of years of heritage. None of the nations want to be part of a bloc aligned more closely with the USA.

Bigger picture, America is labouring under a fever. Many of the people who most clearly recognise this for what it is are Americans.
