One thing I love in Breaking Bad is how many actions of the characters are not explained neither before or after (especially Walt's) they just make sense in the development of the plot.
I know this is normal good storytelling. It shouldn't be something worth mentioning.
But this is crazy when comparing with most current TV Shows where everything is dumbed down and has to be spelled out.

BTW, when I was at the end of season 2 and the beginning of season 3, I was afraid that the shows was taking a very dark turn and humor seemed to suddenly be gone, but luckily, humor is back (I'm in the second half of season 3 at the moment, today, I watched "The Fly" which had some hilarious moments, and which was directed by Rian Johnson (TIL that he directed three episodes in total)

I finished watching #BreakingBad season 2 and started season 3. Is the show taking a dark turn or what?
What I really like about the show is this subtle mix of humor and dark themes.
But in the past few episodes, the humor seems to have vanished and the dark themes are becoming darker.
Is it something I need to be prepared to for the rest of the show or does it get a lighter tone again later?
I finished watching season one of Breaking Bad. Good stuff (but the season finale didn't feel like a season finale, but it doesn't matter, it's not like I have to wait two years for the next episode).
Anyways, I can't get over the fact that the premise would be utterly ridiculous in pretty much any country, but not farfetched at all for the US.
So, I started watching Breaking Bad (better late than never) and... Walter White's look was inspired by Ned Flanders's right? Right?
All the experts appear to coincide that the cliffhanger at the end of PLUR1BUS s01 e05 "Got Milk" can only mean one ominous thing.
I, on the other hand, believe Vince Gilligan is preparing something even weirder. He can't disappoint.
Peter's not really gone from the Albuquerque-verse.
