One thing I love in Breaking Bad is how many actions of the characters are not explained neither before or after (especially Walt's) they just make sense in the development of the plot.

I know this is normal good storytelling. It shouldn't be something worth mentioning.

But this is crazy when comparing with most current TV Shows where everything is dumbed down and has to be spelled out.

BTW, when I was at the end of season 2 and the beginning of season 3, I was afraid that the shows was taking a very dark turn and humor seemed to suddenly be gone, but luckily, humor is back (I'm in the second half of season 3 at the moment, today, I watched "The Fly" which had some hilarious moments, and which was directed by Rian Johnson (TIL that he directed three episodes in total)
