馃У (1/2) FREEBIE METEORITE! 鈽勶笍

I'm giving away a free #meteorite to one of my Mastodon friends. It could be you. breathe

This will not be one of those gimmicky social media promotions where I make you do a bunch of dumb shit to win.

The meteorite won't be big or expensive. But, it will be a genuine sample-sized space rock from the Asteroid Belt. Also comes with a little display case, ID label, and info sheet (see photo).

I will pick one random person (continued in next post) ...

Your meteorite will be similar to this one. This is a "micromount" fragment of a stony meteorite. It is about the size of a thumbnail and weighs less than one gram. It's big enough to see, handle, and possibly make into a pendant, but small enough where I can afford to give it away.

Your specimen will come with a small acrylic gemjar case like the one shown here. There is an identification label in the bottom of the case (not visible here).

The black centimeter cube is shown for scale and is not included.
