Stay strong if you find that you're the only nonbinary person in the room. You (probably) didn't ask for it, but you're clearly needed there.
Your presence is powerful and will have a good influence long after you've left the space.
Keep existing bravely.
It’s not your fault if you have to leave everyone you’ve ever known because they couldn’t accept you for being nonbinary.
It’s not a reflection of your inadequacy. It’s a sign of their failing.
And you are still lovable and worthy of friendship even if you have to start over.
Be glad that this time around you will have better, stronger relationships.
“There are only two genders.” “You just want attention.” These frantic statements are the dying breaths of an ideology.
These defenders of a rigid gender binary have been reduced to shouting hate behind anonymity and bluster with no hope of changing us.
Such acts are only to briefly lessen their own fear. They are afraid because we are winning.
So, keep fighting. Continue winning.
