Photo's from yesterday's OlieBollenTocht. It's an annual bicycle tour for velomobiles, held at the end of December when oliebollen are available. These are a kind of donut traditionally served for New Year's Eve in the Netherlands. For the first time ever, the tour was in Groningen. This meant that the start was less than 50 km from my home, so I went along this year (previously I've taken part in Zwolle and Utrecht but often it's too far from home so I don't take part).

Riding through a pretty village in Groningen. We're about to go over a small bridge. It took quite a while for all the velomobiles to get through each place.

One of many photos that I took of cycling through the countryside, with a huge queue of velomobiles disappearing into the mist before me. It was quite similar if I looked backward.

I stopped at this bridge into Groningen and took a couple of photos of people coming towards me. There's a railway line alongside the cycling bridge. I actually went over this bridge three times. Once on the way to the event, once on the way back and this time.

Sinner Mango velomobile for sale. I've been asked to sell it on behalf of a friend.

This particular bike has actually barely been used. When it was ridden the owner always took care so it's also never been crashed or scratched and therefore never needed to be repaired.

Due to being stored indoors it also shows no signs of gelcoat damage due to sunlight.

Actually, though it was made in 2008 this bike looks almost like it left the factory yesterday.

I don't think I've ever seen a cleaner second hand machine.

I ride a Mango myself and I find it to be an excellent bike. It's quick, suitable for use in all weather (I commuted all year round in mine) and also has enough inside capacity for a tent / sleeping bag etc. if you want to go cycle touring without any aerodynamic penalty.

Inside view. This is a very clean bike. You can see the steering column with switches for tooter and indicators, the dashboard with controls for the lighting etc.

Going for a ride along a country road, the velomobile which is for sale as it's seen from my own velomobile when riding just behind.

Hello le Fediverse,

Étant sur le point de faire une grosse MAJ de ma trousse de "petites sorties", j'en profite pour exposer sans prétention son contenu et proposer un petit jeu (#deballestatroussedesecours): déballer le contenu de nos trousse de secours.
L'idée est de publier notre fonctionnement, de trouver des axes d'amélioration et des idées.
Par exemple, pour nos ami.e.s #velo #velotaffeur #velomobile #randonnée etc...

Pour ma part, j'ai une petite trousse qui m'accompagne pour les petites sorties (ci-joint), un trauma kit, ma mallette de soin et ma caisse pharmacie (contenue dans une caisse à outils qui a un background de fou).
