Findings at the #fleamarket today:
- A #playstation with something rattling inside
- #Xbox One S (incredible that these are now considered "old" enough to be sold at flea markets) + two gamepads (and one seems from the newer Xbox gen)
- four #SNES games

The end of turn six. We have an entirely different tack we're following this time, taking human wave tactics to another level. In addition to just infantry though, I've also mixed in some bazooka units (known as mechs, even though 'mechanized infantry' is used to actually mean like some dudes in an APC) to give us some cheap extra firepower. They're glass cannons and almost entirely useless on the offensive, but we can deploy a *lot* of them.

I think we've finally broken the stalemate! I moved my defensive rockets into the firing range of the enemy, forcing the AI to prioritize between rebuffing my advance and hitting my rockets. They split the difference, which left me with just enough firepower to do some lasting damage and start making solid gains again.

This restoration required most of the skills I learned over the years: capacitor replacement, circuit board repair, retrobrighting, 3D printing, plastic repair, … Super satisfying to succeed (after taking a few wrong turns along the way, as usual). 😊 #SNEStoration #Nintendo #SuperNintendo #SNES

Finished #Lufia2 last night. Loved the unconventional dungeon designs, the overall pacing, the music and that ending in particular. It has soul and it's a classic for a good reason.

Prompted by a recent GB paint program demo, taking a lil detour to try hooking a #SNES Mouse directly up to #GameBoy (snes controller protocol over link port).

Commited a few crimes with the latch and clock polarity (signal inverter not here yet), but it still manages to ~work on a DMG.
