I've been slowly collecting all the OST CDs from Bubblegum Crisis with the intent of doing accurate rips of each of them as well as high-quality scans of the covers and booklets.
I'm really fond of this show and part of the reason why I want to do this conservation work specifically is that the only way to listen to its soundtrack nowadays is via the "remastered" releases on streaming services which are absolute garbage. And I mean real dumpster fire. 🧵 1/3

I don't how this managed to fly under my radar but last week Nobuo Yamada of MAKE-UP fame died. He sung Saint Seiya's OP Pegasus Fantasy which was likely the first J-rock song I listened to, sent to my by a penpal on a cassette, copied from a bootleg Taiwanese CD. I still can't get it out of my head after all these years.
