jan pali pi ma ale, o wan!
It's time for the 37th track of the year.

This one is quite slow and blurry. I can't really link it to a specific genre, but I'd say it's some kind of #downtempo with a hint of #dub. Maybe it also has a slight vaporwave vibe... I don't know, but I like it.

Did you know the 36th week of 2025 is ending? It means it's time for track number 36!

This one isn't easy to describe. It's still somewhere within #techno territories, and goes a bit wild with arpeggiators, droning pads and random LFOs. And... I'm pretty happy with it?
Hallo!
Hello!
Привет!
toki a!
I'm new here on Conlang Network. :)
I've been part of the conlanging hobby since I was a young teenager, but I've not worked on anything conlang-related in quite a while.
I've pursued #linguistics in university because of my #conlanging hobby; and I'm a professional in the translation/localisation industry, specialising in video games and other media.
I speak #German and #English natively ( #bilingual) and have been learning a bit of #Russian on the side. I am fluent in #tokipona, which I've been learning for over seven years now.
I initially planned to post this yesterday. My life has become wonderfully complicated lately, so you can expect slight temporal disturbances now and then. But all is well, so here's the 35th track of 2025, a bit earlier than the usual:

I felt like going back to #techno this time, and for once, it turned out to be more or less what I envisioned. I had no idea how it would sound... but it sounds a bit like what I remember from early Kompakt records. And I'm happy with that vibe.
It's track number 34 time :)

This one smells like post-rock, but it isn't post-rock, because I can't play the guitar to start with, so... Let's say it's the result of leaving me unattended with some guitar samples after a couple of decades spent listening to post-rock (and many unrelated genre.)
I was playing with Gemini yesterday (the evil google ai not the cool alternative networking protocol) and was surprised that it's able to speak Toki Pona quite well. You can ask it to translate a sentence and responds. Granted I don't know much #TokiPona so it could be doing a totally horrible job but I was surprised it even tried tbh
It's time for the 33rd track of year, so here it is:

This is some kind of trip hop with a big bass, subtle glitches over a not so subtle beat, and cute dirty samples from my new steel tongue drum. Perhaps you'll find a hint of melancholy in the mix. Some parts remind me of that Trentemøller vibe that I was probably chasing subconsciously.
I really like how it turned out, maybe you'll like it too?
I ordered the Toki Pona books today.
Here's the 31st track of 2025, because, yes, we're reaching the end of the 31st week.

I don't know which genre would be accurate to describe it. This is some kind of IDM-flavored dark #ambient #downtempo with an ominous, cinematic, almost ritualistic vibe. A blend of sullen pads, drowned bass and slow beats that sometimes go awry. And I like where it goes.
Here's the 32nd track of 2025. I'm not sure how to describe this one, but at some point, the melody reminds me of a track from Gui Borrato that's been stuck in my head for many years, and it's a vibe I love.

Also it's my birthday. And I'm in a fantastic mood.
tenpo suno ni la, mi sike e suno a!
Hodiaux estas mia naskigxotago!
It's my cake day!
There are many ways to shout void-ward regarding the anniversary of ones birth.
Here's one more:
"I have been stuck to the side of a large spinning rock by a force no one fully understands, hurdling through the vast emptiness of space, while orbiting an unfathomably giant ball of fire for many years.
The experience would have been terrifying to endure without your company."
I somehow seem to be encountering #TokiPona more often lately. Pretty much forgot about the language after learning of its existence from a radio program some twenty years ago, and suddenly I come across people using it somewhat often here on fedi, as well as on #GeminiProtocol.
Mildly curious as to what's drawing people to it.

A mouse is an adorable 'soweli lili' until it runs uninvited across your kitchen floor.
At which point it becomes 'a!', and various other alarmed vowel sounds.

Here's the 31st track of 2025, because, yes, we're reaching the end of the 31st week.

mi lon la, mi pona is something I say often.
Translated from #tokipona, it means something along the lines of "If I'm here, then I'm good". Like a lot of #clown thoughts, the phrase is dripping with philosophy and layers of poetry.
Today I found where I first used the phrase.
It was something I scrawled at the bottom of a journal entry about being present where you are and doing what you can to make it somewhere you want to be.
