Hello from my shiny new profile on @mastoart.social #NewHere #introduction #welcome

My name is Rom|Tapas in the Sun. Many of you may know me from @photog.social. I am passionate about photography and have been documenting my travels and explorations of Spain since moving there in 2017.

I primarily post black and white photos shot on film using vintage cameras. I also have a darkroom and develop and print my photos.

I process 35mm rolls in batches of four, so it's taken me a couple of months to catch up with the 2+ rolls I took of the No Kings rally in Ithaca (images follow in this thread). For the fun of it, I decided to cover the event the way I did in the old days: Nikon F with 24mm, 35mm, and 85mm lenses, Tri-X at 800 in Acufine.

The Ithaca No Kings rally drew a crowd of over two thousand people in a county with a total summer population of fifty thousand. I'll be taking several days to post these pictures so that folks can see what a lot of people where I live think of Trump.
