So, my second ever roll of film didn't mount properly in the camera, resulting in all my exposures hitting the same frame.

I'm a little sad, since I got some shots I quite liked and wanted to see, but I didn't lose any portraits and, honestly, this is pretty cool.

A visually incomprehensible mishmash of shapes and lines. From a technical perspective, massively overexposed; mostly white and red with a few dark lines and regions. To me, it looks like an echo of a dream about a bicycle in hell.

There is an adjacent Starbucks that has temple-facing seating inside, or you can just enjoy the view of the main hall through the shop windows.

On street level, the fairly compact temple grounds provide for a pleasant and quiet stroll in an urban setting.

The name “Rokkakudo” refers to the distinctive hexagonal shape of the temple’s main hall, best seen from above (from an adjacent tall building).
