A color landscape photo showing a gas pump island alongside a deserted highway. There is no infrastructure except for the long rectangular concrete pad for four gas pumps and the surrounding black asphalt. There was a small tree growing in the concrete island in the lower left put someone has cut it down and it lays dead on the asphalt pointing toward the left side of the frame. Moving toward the center of the photo, a square foundation is visible where a gas pump was once mounted. Slightly to the right of center a gas pump lies on its side, disconnected from it mount on the rectangular concrete island. furthest from the foreground and right of center are two gas pumps that are still standing but both have been striped of their outer shell. The landscape outside of the asphalt and highway is barren. The sky is a bright clear blue with puffy white clouds.
