This is not unrelated, of course, to the stepped-up attack on anyone remembering Charlie Kirk as he was and remembering exactly what he said and did. The idea that the Trumps are "saving God" is rich and ludicrous, given who they are. But a certain kind of religion has utilitarian value for fascists….
