I get what you're saying, and I'm certainly not innocent of doing the same, but I think variations of "It's okay for me, but not for everyone" fall apart under scrutiny pretty quickly.

The model is replacing his site. There is no credit, clicks, or revenue. This is what the "enshittification" of the open web looks like in practice.

Hard to imagine moving to Berlin without stumbling upon his guides at some point.

@siracusa Sorry, yeah. I’d meant that you can’t get it in modifiers and such in SwiftUI land. The way the app is stuck together is still AppKit and I’ve been taking advantage of that to get specific things done. Yesterday I discovered you can’t put custom views inside SwiftUI menus even though NSMenuItrm has a view property. So I had to poke around to get that working.
