It's destroying people's critical thinking skills, in some cases causing irreversible harm (death), and has no real-world value.
The amount of times I've seen people ask AI a question, then have to check it was right - meaning it would have taken the same or less time to just figure it out from the jump? Bananas.
I'm also so sick of jobs that will get zero benefit from AI having to find a way to integrate it to please leadership.

Your entire ruling class would struggle to successfully conduct an opening shift at a 5 Guys. That's not an exaggeration - these people are crass fucking morons with zero life skills; it's why every election one of them fumbles the ball trying to eat a sandwich or navigate the self checkout at a Walmart. These are not bright people with good plans. You should stop listening to, or even respecting them.
(Okay I failed to successfully navigate, spelling the word navigate - at least I fixed it. A guy like Trump or Musk would just insist that's the way we spell navigate now and threaten to drone strike you if you didn't comply)

It's a big red flag for me when people reduce animal emotions to material needs, more indicative of the grim worldview of the person and how they see others than anything. Anyone who has had a pet should be able to know there is at least something beyond a transactional material relationship.
I do wonder if there are pets or pet species that have a bond driven by hate or malice rather than love tho lol. Like "I stick around because I like to keep my enemies close." That is sort of how some of my friends who have snakes seem to think of their pets motivations.

I don't know why people are always so quick to dismiss animal intelligence as "they're just doing it for food." Like so WHAT so are YOU if you want to be that reductive about it. Why is it hard to acknowledge that an animal that we know can learn to associate speech sounds with meaning and can smell orders of magnitude better than we can would be able to tell different train lines apart and recognize stations from their smell? Plenty of people just get on the train without a destination because there are other people on there who might give them things. Who cares why they go around on the train, its enough that they do.

@d_olex Have you ever tried changing app store region on iOS? It's difficult, there are limits to the number of times you can do it, and doing so will lose access to other apps you may need. Simply removing the app from the Apple App Store is equivalent to removing access to the network for around half of users and there are no other alternative apps that people can use for the same access on iOS due to the GPLv3 + CLA licensing of the Signal app.

If you ever go on YouTube to look at food/cooking videos, you're likely to have come across the lads from Fallow restaurant. High end, but playful cooking technique and recipes. Trained under Heston Blumenthal so the next generation of intelligent cooking. Just watching Saturday kitchen and they, 'inspired' by Manosphere, are doing live stream Fridays in their kitchen. Promoting positive male role models. Which is something I've spoken about before and am absolutely thrilled about and applaud. Also had radio 4 on in the car back from running and there was a segment on positive dad parenting and stepping into traditionally or stereotypically female held roles. There are little bits of light here and there. I love to see it. Hooray for men stepping up. More of this sort of thing please. 🙌
