I'm concerned that the US government is starting to identify decentralized media infrastructure as a threat to its survival. Repost information about this broadly, and if you have media contacts, inform them of counter-narratives; there could come a time where the fediverse, or any decentralized network infrastructure, is a target as well if we don't sound the alarms now.

Something is going on with #Italy. It moved from unassuming second-rate country to important UN partner with a recognised vision (Mattei Plan...) and a large footprint. Anyone has recommended reading on this? I read Italian too.

The only people wearing suits were staffers working for the property management firm.
The only people wearing ties were the three attorneys that were presenting talks on condo law.

The issue, bluntly, is that well... unilateral disarmament just doesn't work. With a lot of the energy transition stuff, as with everything, the likely outcome of not using said tools of tremendous power is being ground under the boot of the people who keep using them.

The legal term 'terrorism' is changing; now in Scotland protestors who spray painted a club house at a golf club & dug up some grass have had their charges linked to a 'terrorist connection'....
Of course, this may be due to the owner of the golf course (the Tangerine Tyrant), but once vandalism becomes regularly linked to 'terrorism' in courts, the impact on the right to protest is pretty clear.
Its one more move against democracy in the UK!
