@farah I hope you appreciate the bizarreness of my near death.

I was working at a convenience store with gas. Gas was bubbling from under one of the pumps. Left a message with the boss. I go outside to examine things. While outside surrounded by gas, a car riding on the rim turns the corner, sparks flying everywhere. Realising I can't run far enough fast enough, I watch as death and that car approaches. Then nothing happens.

@jalefkowit trust me when I say, Dolly was as revered in the UK as anywhere. I'm a lot sadder about her passing than I was about the Queen.
TBF, that wouldn't be hard. However, Dolly was on my list of strangers I hoped never died. It's a very short list.

I remember in college, back in the late 80's, my professor gave the class an assignment to edit the Minix kernel. It had to do with tweaking the calculation of memory availability prior to allocation. It was a simple thing but quite fun.
