I want to reach out: I have this pending release for the SLURM executor (https://github.com/snakemake/snakemake-executor-plugin-slurm/pull/412 ). It implements better error feedback (in case of hardware failures and otherwise). It would need some thorough checking, and I cannot provoke too many hardware failures. Is anyone working on an older cluster? 😉

Feedback (as issues) would be appreciated. Also nice, if you tell me it is working, here.

This has many aspects: bias towards passing controversy, drama and the 'televisual' rather than the big picture; perception of what is current through the lens of social media and newspapers controlled or influenced by wealthy corporations and individuals; 'objectivity' seen as presenting both sides of an issue, rather than the disinterested pursuit of truth...

So mainstream media's own conception of how politics and media work has been hijacked and deployed against reality. From inside the media, it looks like the hail of distractions from Trump, etc, just has to be reported. Only from outside can we ask: what if distraction is the point ?

I've been saying for a year or two, after really understanding the Anarchist analysis of capital that @HeavenlyPossum helped me with... That capitalism is a government system in which government grants titles to assets and enforces them with police.

Here the author identifies the title as the asset. An asset is a social construct granting social control over others. A machine or a building is an object, but the asset is a set of "rights" and that is what is traded in the market.
