Notty is making real progress differentiating her talking buttons. We've been working especially on her favorite buttons, water, play, and training. I assumed that "treat" would be the favorite, but she hardly uses it so far. "Pets" and "wants" are also popular.

then in the late 70s, you could finally program them! for free! you just had to own a microcomputer! yay
but then in the 80s and 90s you had to buy compilers, which were expensive
by with the 2000s, rapidly compilers and interpreters became free again. anyone could program, for free!
and then in the 2020s someone invented "programming but you have to pay", again.

10:30pm and I get the call-button to put my father to bed¹, and my besocked foot steps in a puddle. His urostomy bag had leaked, substantially. Then I find the quilt was also wet, so now that's in the washer and he's using a different blanket. ‹sigh›
[1] He's not allowed to do that alone after he botched the transfer from wheelchair to bed, sagged to the ground, and sat there for over two hours without pressing the call button — which he wears around his neck — for help.

Oh, vaya. Resulta que han cerrado una escuela privada de Barcelona cuando ya estaba todo el alumnado matriculado porque por lo visto alguien les ha pagado un pastizal por el edificio y claro, los beneficios de los accionistas priman sobre el derecho a la educación de les niñes.
