I've gotten really adapted to the climate, which is to say, good at heat dissipation. So now when I take a hot bath or even do the dishes, it feels like the water cools off really fast despite being initially uncomfortably hot, faster than if the water just sat there. It took me awhile to realize my body is literally playing the role of a heat pipe via my blood flow.
I think I read something about how trees do this too, and don't just cool/stabilize temperatures in the area with shade. Because they have those fluid channels going into the roots for nutrition. It's also kind of like those home cooling systems that use buried pipes full of salt water, you know, trading thermal energy with the deep soil.
@MaddieM4 Years and years ago, I saw some prototype devices that were supposed to help athletes cool down quickly. They’d put their hand in this chamber, which would subject it to cold air, and the idea was to cool their entire body by cooling the blood circulating through their hand. I thought it was a pretty interesting concept, and now that I think about it, it was like a reverse gom jabbar.

What a refreshing morning at 54f/12c! It felt and looked all autumn back in the county park.
Kengo, as he always does, tried to run up to a jogging man. I pulled him close to me but he was so strong that I fell back on my butt. The guy wanted to make sure I was ok but I wish he had jogged away quickly as Kengo continued to move toward him. No injuries just soreness in my butt and left shoulder.

@davemark Lego is aggressively moving towards recycled materials https://www.lego.com/en-gb/sustainability/sustainable-materials but in the meantime you can always donate your old sets so other "kids" can have fun too 🙂
