Rikku's dive suit is like. "....did no one notice we gave the teenager a nude-colored diving suit?" that like. Eventually I'm willing to forgive because hey, CRTs were still standard, maybe stuff looked a bit darker (so brown) or paler (so white) on different equipment.
Especially with her main suit, which is! Cute! Fun! Sporty, even! At least, as a preteen playing it, I wanted that kind of fashion sense.
Then X-2 comes out and Rikku's main outfit is "....welp, that's DEFINITELY fanservice"
(Especially cause, even with the Lady Luck dressphere and the specialty dresspheres around, Rikku's thief outfit feels the most fanservice-y, like, there's no clear alternate reasoning besides it Is Revealing)
But I enjoy the games iverall so I'm willing to chalk it up to. Whatever. General trends or something.
