taking a look at my "all new episodes published" internal db for last month (July 2026), the world published at least 1.4m hrs of new mp3 episodes for the month, or about 46k hours a day if my night math is correct
so I'd say if your 30k hrs are unduplicated then you have excellent coverage - the long tail is very long and, these days, full of generated audio
@js imagine what that number would be if he was supporting transcripts provided by podcasters in their feed…
